Taurus
Taurus is a Python framework for control and data acquisition CLIs and GUIs in scientific and industrial environments. It supports multiple control systems and data sources, such as Tango and EPICS, and can be extended with new schemes through plugins.
For non-programmers, Taurus can be used to create fully featured GUIs with forms, plots, synoptics, and other components. For programmers, Taurus provides a simple model-based API for building and customizing CLIs and GUIs in Python.
Taurus is Free Software distributed under the LGPL. The source code, development activity, and contribution workflow are available in the Taurus project repository.
